StormCast forecasts at convection-allowing resolution on the 3 km HRRR grid, fine enough to represent individual storms rather than parameterizing them.

It complements FourCastNet 3, which covers the globe at coarser resolution. StormCast is the one to use where the question is about a specific convective event over the continental United States.

Code and weights are both Apache-2.0.

The lab runs this on its own compute, in a container, with the inputs and parameters recorded alongside the result. Initial scoping conversations are free.
