Open to WashU faculty, staff, students, and postdocs, and to external academic and industry collaborators. The lab runs as shared research infrastructure — instruments, staff, computing, and curated data — offered as a recharge facility under a User Agreement, provided at project scoping.

Internal & external rates

WashU recharge rates differ from external academic and industry rates. Rates are structured per project and scope-dependent. WashU users can review the WashU internal rate schedule (PDF, WashU login required). External academic and industry rates are available on request during scoping.

Written estimates

Estimates and User Agreement details are provided after the scoping conversation.

Typical lead times: field campaigns 2–8 weeks, longer for international travel or specialized permits; processing of existing data 1–3 weeks depending on scope and queue. Urgent requests are sometimes possible — ask.
