The Forest Structural Complexity Tool separates terrestrial and mobile laser scans into ground, stems and foliage, then fits cylinders to the stems to measure diameter.
It combines a learned segmentation step with deterministic geometry fitting, and runs on CPU.
The license is GPL-3.0, a copyleft license.
